The Short Constructed Response rubric allows students to make informed choices when it comes to paragraph writing. It focuses their attention to specifics in writing rather than unfocused/conscience writing.

Here we cover various topics relating to both Geography and U.S. History.
Expectations -
1. Students will arrive on time and prepared to learn.
2. Students will show respect for all persons and materials.
3. Students will not consume food, drink or candy in class.
4. Students will not use electronic devices in class (cell phones/ipods/mp3 players).
Daily Routine -
Warm-Up [5-10 Min]
The Warm-up typically covers learning from either the day before or information that leads into a new topic.
Warm-Up Discussion [5 Min]
Check to see that answers are correct and where the blanks are filled in and information for the day is dispersed.
Activity/Activities [25-30 Min]
Demonstration of Learning [5-10 Min]
One - Five questions that check to see if the information that was taught was indeed learned by the students
